Tracksticks are very high tech devices and once you learn how to use them, the results are amazing. Seamless integration into Google Earth. I own the Pro and the Mini and love them both. I would strongly recommend them to everyone. Great Product, happy customer.

And that goes for employees too as drivers don’t always choose the most time or fuel efficient routes. With the Trackstick II, Super Trackstick and Trackstick Pro, I was able to help everyone make better decisions. Look into purchasing a Trackstick auto tracking device today. Collect data, download it to the free-to-download Tracksitck Manager Windows based PC software and Google Earth. You will then be empowered to learn if there are problems, and you can make the necessary decisions to correct them.

Trackstick worked pretty well in Europe, albeit messing with the software settings a little. It’s not as difficult as it first looks, as with most new programs. The first time I used Trackstick the red map routes it created were a little jumpy, but I quickly learned that it was my fault for not giving it time to connect to the satellites. Just set it outside facing the sky for a minute or so until the light turns green and after that you’re pretty much good to go anywhere. I had this on the train from Zurich to Paris last year and even through the snow and some shorter tunnels it got a pretty accurate recording. Just bought a new one after losing my other. It’s definitely a good way to show off your vacation to people. I just love seeing all the squiggly lines going throughout the maps.
Trackstick was able to last (with constant daily recording on the trains) for more than a few days with any given set of batteries, keeping in mind that it was CONSTANTLY on. Of course since then I’ve upgraded to the Super so the battery life goes a little longer because of the vibration detector, and must agree with the recommendation for rechargeables, which is mostly a common sense thing if you plan on using this a lot.
Also one of the nicest manuals I’ve seen for a product like this or any other. Quite graphical and easy to navigate.

I bought a trackstick pro and after 6 months of normal use, it stopped working. I’ve been in contact with the folks at Trackstick for about a month as they kept trying to convince me that I was doing something wrong. Now that they’ll admit something is wrong with the unit, they say “take it back to where you bought it.” I said “how about I send it to you and pay shipping both ways”. They said “No you didn’t buy it from us”. I would think that although there is a physical store I purchased it from, that since they manufacture the item, that I did indeed buy it from them. When my Acer monitor broke they didn’t send me to best buy, they gave me an RMA and fixed the flaw. DON’T BUY TRACKSTICK PRODUCTS, TRACKSTICK COMPANY WON’T STAND BEHIND THEM!
